§ L-04.01Listing photos
Photos of vehicles belong to their owners: the seller, photographer or listing site. BidBetter does not claim any rights in them. BidBetter does not display listing photos on shared reports, public pages or share previews; shared reports show the car's name, the numbers and the report only. In your own signed-in reports, BidBetter may show the listing's main photo, loaded directly from the listing site, so you can recognise the car. It is shown only to you, is not stored by BidBetter, and is never included when you share a report. Listing photo links may be read to help value the car, but the photos are not republished, not sold, and not used in BidBetter's marketing.
If you believe a photo of yours appears anywhere on BidBetter, email support@bidbetter.ai with the share link or listing, and we'll remove it promptly. You don't need to send a formal notice for a photo request.
§ L-04.02Listing text and sale records
BidBetter reads listings at its users' request and uses facts from completed sales (such as price, date, mileage and specification) to estimate values. Facts aren't owned by anyone, but if you believe we've reproduced your protected expression, tell us and we'll review it.
§ L-04.03DMCA notices
To report copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, send a written notice to our designated agent at support@bidbetter.ai (subject line "DMCA notice") that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work;
- identification of the material and where it appears on BidBetter (for example the share link);
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
§ L-04.04Counter-notices
If you shared a report and believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to support@bidbetter.ai with your signature, identification of the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in your district (or California if you are outside the U.S.). We may restore the material after 10 business days unless the complainant tells us they've filed a court action.
§ L-04.05Repeat infringers
We may disable share links and close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' rights.
