BidBetter's Bid targets, most-likely ranges, bands, ranges, walk-away prices and other figures are statistical estimates calculated from completed sales of comparable vehicles, adjusted for factors such as mileage, specification and sale date. They can be wrong, sometimes by a lot, especially for rare cars, unusual specifications, thin markets, or listings with missing or inaccurate details.

A BidBetter report is not an appraisal by a certified or licensed appraiser and should not be used where a formal appraisal is required (for example insurance, lending, tax, estate, donation or legal purposes). It is not financial, investment, legal, tax or mechanical advice. Collector vehicles are not a guaranteed store of value. Consult qualified professionals for advice about your situation.

Auction and sale prices depend on bidders, timing, reserves, presentation, fees and many other factors BidBetter cannot see or control. No report predicts or guarantees what a vehicle will sell for, or that you will win or lose any auction. Our past accuracy on other vehicles does not guarantee accuracy on yours. Walk-away figures are a reference point, not a recommendation to bid any amount.

Before you bid or buy, you are responsible for verifying the vehicle's identity, VIN, title, ownership, mileage, history, condition, specification, originality, legality and any liens, and for arranging an independent pre-purchase inspection. BidBetter does not inspect vehicles, does not verify seller statements, and does not confirm that a listing is genuine.

Comparable sales, listing details, photos, recall records, crash ratings and vehicle history information come from third parties, including auction sites, marketplaces, sellers, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and data providers. That information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and BidBetter does not guarantee it. Recall lists are shown by model year, make and model and may not apply to a specific vehicle; check the VIN with NHTSA or the manufacturer. "What the listing says" sections repeat the seller's own claims, unverified.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BidBetter is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a report, including overpayment, a missed purchase, a vehicle's condition, title or history, or any auction outcome. Our total liability is limited as set out in section 10 of the Terms of Service.

If you share, publish or rely on a BidBetter report in dealings with others (for example a buyer, seller, lender or insurer), you do so at your own risk and agree to indemnify BidBetter as set out in section 11 of the Terms.

Disputes are resolved by individual binding arbitration with a class-action waiver, and these terms are governed by California law, as set out in sections 14 and 15 of the Terms.

BidBetter is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any auction site, marketplace, dealer, manufacturer or data provider named in the Service. Names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the source of information.
